He My Loves!
I just got back from the most amazing trip ever with Heidi Klein. We went to California thanks to Air New Zealand with some other super gorgeous bloggers who I really adore and my lovely sister/photographer came along with us! The weather was perfect, we had great company and the destination was incredible. It was definitely one of the best trips of my life so far.
I was so excited to go to California, because I had never been there before. We flew with Air New Zealand which was a great flight, because of the comfort and friendly crew members. After we landed, we got into the car and drove to our first destination San Diego. It was the first amazing destination we got to explore, three others followed.
In San Diego we stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado. It was a stunning hotel with so many perfect spots to make photos! After a good night of sleep, the day started with an early spin class on the beach at 7am. It was a great way to start the day. Later that day we went kayaking in the sea in La Jolla. You could see seals and sea lions lying down the beach, which was amazing. The day ended with a very delicious Californian taco.
Up next was Huntington Beach , by far my favourite place we visited. We stayed at the Pasea Hotel which had the best swimming pool. Because Huntington Beach is called ‘Surf City, USA’ obviously we went surfing together! It was so great fun. Time flew by and after the great surfing lessons, we ate some s’mores on the beach. The best thing of the day was watching the magical sunset, the perfect ending.
The third destinations was Santa Barbara . Our hotel was incredible, we stayed at the Four Seasons. The exotic gardens and views were to die for. We spend some time relaxing in the sun and went for a little road trip to explore Santa Barbara. It was so much fun!
The last and final destination was Palm Springs. Everything about our hotel (Parker Hotel) was amazing and Insta worthy. Even the entrance was stunning. At Palm Springs we did what girls can do best and went shopping! We couldn’t let the trip go by without any new purchases of course. Furthermore we explored the area and went on a tour of all the famous Modernist houses.
